Role: Electrical Engineer – Quantity Surveying Department

Industry: Engineering/Construction (Renewable Energy, Electrical)

Level: Mid-Senior Level

Key Requirements:

•           Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

•           3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally within the construction industry

•           Strong understanding of electrical systems, designs, and cost estimation.

•           Experience in cost analysis and budgeting for electrical systems, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance.

•           Proficiency in quantity surveying and estimation software, such as CostX, Bluebeam, or similar.

•           Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, NRS, IEC).

•           Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and convert them into cost-effective solutions.

•           Experience collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other professionals to assess project scope and determine accurate cost estimates.

•           A solid understanding of electrical engineering design principles, including wiring, circuiting, and electrical installations.

•           Ability to produce detailed and accurate bills of quantities and cost reports.

•           Effective communicator with the ability to liaise between engineers, architects, and clients.

•           Proactive with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

•           Analytical and cost-conscious, with an ability to balance technical feasibility with financial constraints.

•           Team-oriented, with a collaborative attitude towards cross-departmental work.

•           A passion for the construction and energy sectors, with a keen interest in driving the success of large-scale projects.
