Hire Resolve’s client, a distinguished chartered accounting firm located in Pretoria, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans that align with client requirements and firm objectives.
• Oversee audit fieldwork, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and firm guidelines.
• Perform detailed reviews of working papers and audit documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate audit findings and strategic recommendations clearly to senior client management.
• Ensure all audit engagements comply with regulatory standards such as SAICA, IRBA, and IFRS.
• Mentor and train audit staff, fostering professional development and adherence to high-quality standards.
• Monitor and manage the progress of audits to ensure timely and cost-efficient completion.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships by recommending additional services.
• Maintain and enhance quality control processes to meet both internal and external review standards.
• Manage project budgets and resolve complex issues or escalations effectively during audits.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) (SA) certification is mandatory.
• Membership in SAICA or IRBA.
• Minimum 5-7 years of audit experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience with small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and trusts is advantageous.
• Proficient in CaseWare, Microsoft Office Suite, and other audit tools.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and South African Taxation principles.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality.
