Job Title: Financial Advisor Support – Administrative Role
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join a growing advisory firm as a Financial Advisor Support. This role is primarily administrative, offering a great opportunity for someone with a passion for organization and accuracy to assist financial advisors in managing client portfolios and ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage proposals, quotations, and policies for client meetings.
- Handle various administrative tasks including submission of applications, gathering and maintaining up-to-date FAIS documents, and managing new business queries or policy renewals.
- Provide support in planning and organizing events and functions, both business and personal (e.g., booking flights, researching venues, arranging activities).
- Assist in compiling renewal documents, presentations, and consulting reports.
- Track tasks, manage deadlines, and participate in weekly meetings to ensure timely completion of responsibilities.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, medical schemes, and insurance providers.
- Handle the management and balancing of monthly commissions.
- Schedule client meetings and provide ongoing support to financial advisors.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.
- FAIS compliance is preferred (Rep status or willingness to pursue Rep status).
- Must be tech-savvy, with experience in CRM systems being an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and an affinity for numbers.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Professional, reliable, and empathetic with excellent communication skills.
- A proactive, resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow within the company.
