We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our reputable client’s team in Durban!

Required Experience:

·        SAIPA/SAICA articles

·        BCom Accounting or similar

·        Xero, Simplepay, Caseware, Excel, Word, Efiling, Easyfile, Sage online , Sage desktop (Pastel)

·        Prepare Monthly Management accounts

·        Prepare Annual Financial Statements

·        Prepare Fixed Asset Register

·        Prepare VAT workings and submissions

·        Process Payroll, EMP201 and EMP501 returns

·        Prepare ROE returns for Workmens Compensation

·        Prepare various reconciliations for the accounting workpaper file at year end

·        Prepare Tax computations for review

·        Data capturing to prepare clients monthly accounts

·        A thorough understanding of the accounting treatment and tax treatment of transactions and their implications for completing tax returns as well as annual financial statements

·        A person that has accounting and tax experience will be excellent

·        U-filing experience will be an advantage
