A well established company based in Greenside is seeking a Payroll Administrator.
Duties:
• Assist in processing the monthly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and South African labour laws.
• Process employee deductions for tax, UIF, pension, medical aid, and other benefits, ensuring accurate calculations.
• Submission of EMP201’s and loading of payments.
• Pulling payroll reports for auditors and EMP501 submissions.
• Registrations and follow-ups with the Department of Labour.
• Preparing documentation for statutory registrations.
• Capturing details on CIPC.
• BO submissions - CIPC only.
• Preparing BO Excel for trusts.
• Maintain an organized filing system for both physical and digital documents, ensuring easy access and confidentiality.
• Preparing files for submission to the Master.
Candidate Requirements
- MS Office (Outlook,Excel)
- Sage Payroll Professional (Advantageous)
- PaySpace (Advantageous)
- Simply Pay (Advantageous)
Requirements :
• Matric (Grade 12, with Mathematics and Business Studies or Accounting) with a preference for further studies or certification in HR or Payroll.
• A relevant qualification in Human Resources or Business Administration is advantageous but not essential.
• 0-2 years of experience in an administrative role, particularly in payroll, and office management.
• Exposure to payroll software such as Sage Payroll Professional, PaySpace and SimplePay is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A basic understanding of South African payroll and tax legislation (BCEA,PAYE, UIF, SDL, etc.) will be beneficial.
