Our client in the electronic manufacturing industry is seeking a Procurement Officer to join them in Kempton Park, East Rand. The successful candidate must have experience in procuring electronic and mechanical parts. Logistics and imports also form part of the scope of experience required

Job Title: Procurement Officer
Geographical area: Kempton Park, Gauteng
Salary range: R 450 000.00 – R 550 000.00 CTC pa

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Staff management (4-6 staff members)
Electronic Procurement
Mechanical procurement
Inbound and outbound logistics
Imports and shipping
Key interface with production
Must support planning of deliverables
Manage procurement lead times

Minimum qualifications and experience:

ERP System experience required
Degree in supply chain management or equivalent
Experience in Engineering manufacturing environment
5-7 years’ experience in similar role
