Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geologist to join our client’s dynamic team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in exploring, analysing, and interpreting geological data to support oil and gas exploration, development, and production.

Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field (a Master’s degree is advantageous).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a geologist in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficient in geological modeling software and tools (e.g., Petrel, ArcGIS).
- Strong understanding of South African geological formations and hydrocarbon systems.
- Knowledge of drilling operations and well-site geology is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to interpret complex geological data.
- Adaptability to work in challenging and remote field environments.
- Proficiency in preparing technical reports and documentation.
