Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geologist to join our client’s dynamic team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in exploring, analysing, and interpreting geological data to support oil and gas exploration, development, and production.

Key Responsibilities:

Exploration & Data Analysis:

• Conduct geological surveys, field studies, and sampling to identify potential oil and gas reserves.
• Analyse and interpret subsurface data, including seismic and well-logging information.
• Create detailed geological models to support exploration and development planning.

Resource Estimation:

• Evaluate the size, quality, and economic viability of hydrocarbon reserves.
• Provide recommendations on drilling locations and reservoir management strategies.

Collaboration & Reporting:

• Work closely with geophysicists, engineers, and other team members to integrate geological findings into broader project plans.
• Prepare detailed geological reports, maps, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Communicate findings effectively to multidisciplinary teams and management.

Operational Support:

• Provide on-site geological support during drilling operations, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Monitor and analyze drilling results to refine geological models and adjust strategies as needed.

Compliance & Sustainability:

• Ensure all geological activities adhere to local, national, and international regulations.
• Promote environmentally responsible practices in exploration and development activities.
