- Design and Development: Develop and maintain advanced analytics applications and data systems. Own key components of data solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of the business.
- Data Systems Implementation: Lead the development of data collection systems, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines, and data warehousing strategies to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and data quality.
- Data Analysis: Interpret complex data, apply statistical techniques, and generate insights that inform business decisions. Proactively identify patterns and trends in large datasets.
- Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex data analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- ETL Development: Build, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines to support large-scale data integration and transformation.
- Programming & Tools: Utilize technologies such as TypeScript, SQL, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Big Data) to develop robust data solutions. Ensure data models and database designs are scalable, secure, and optimized.
- Leadership & Mentoring: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data analysts, offering guidance and promoting best practices in data analytics and system design.
- Quality Assurance: Lead the unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting efforts to maintain high-quality outputs and resolve complex technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 6-7 years of experience in data analysis, including expertise in ETL development, data warehousing, and large dataset management.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL, TypeScript, ETL frameworks, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Big Data) is a plus.
- Programming Expertise: Proficiency in TypeScript for data-driven applications, along with knowledge of database design and development, statistical analysis, and reporting tools.
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data and technical issues, driving innovative solutions across analytics platforms.
