Hire Resolve's client, a solar energy company, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee and manage their day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with proven experience in improving efficiency, reducing costs, and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management & Technical Support

• Provide technical insights during the project development phase, including quoting and site assessments.
• Oversee installation processes, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet project specifications.

2. Stock, Equipment, and Logistics Management

• Ensure availability and allocation of materials, tools, and PPE for each project.
• Manage inventory records and oversee procurement processes.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams for on-time material delivery.

3. Health, Safety, & Quality Control

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, PPE use, and site safety protocols.
• Work with the Health and Safety Officer to maintain updated safety files.
• Conduct post-installation inspections to uphold quality standards.

4. Team Leadership & Administration

• Lead, manage, and evaluate internal and external installation teams.
• Approve leave, overtime, and manage team schedules.
• Resolve team grievances in collaboration with HR.
• Organize stocktakes and maintain tool inventories.

5. Client Engagement & Budget Management

• Act as the main point of contact for clients during project installations.
• Resolve client issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

6. Training & Development

• Develop training programs to enhance team skills.
• Stay updated on industry trends and solar technology advancements.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in operations management (preferably in solar, renewable energy, or electrical industries).
• Proven track record in managing residential, commercial, and agricultural solar installations.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of solar PV systems and tools (e.g., torque wrenches, drill bits).
• Familiarity with inventory management and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
