Job Purpose:
Lesaka is seeking an experienced and dynamic Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to design, implement, and manage effective learning programs that align with our Consumer Division’s business objectives. This role is key in enhancing employee skills, driving performance, and promoting a culture of continuous learning. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a strategic L&D plan aligned with business goals, addressing employee learning needs and skill gaps.
- Program Development: Design and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules.
- Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions, utilizing diverse methods to engage participants.
- Performance Management: Assess the effectiveness of programs and provide feedback to enhance performance.
- Talent Development: Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify and develop high-potential employees.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all programs comply with South African labour laws and industry best practices, maximizing B-BBEE recognition.
- Funding & Budget Management: Manage the L&D budget and optimize SETA funding for programs.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track key L&D metrics and report on training outcomes and ROI.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing L&D team, ensuring efficient execution of programs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field. Postgraduate degree or relevant certifications are preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in L&D, preferably in financial services, fintech, or technology sectors.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of instructional design, LMS, adult learning principles, and training facilitation.
