Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Monitor that all entities remain tax-compliant across various jurisdictions
Oversee the full insurance function
Ensure all debtor accounts are paid up to date
Follow up on overdue accounts
Review and approve the monthly rooftop rental invoices
Prepare management accounts
Complete and submit the monthly EMP201 forms
Review month-end journals, including provisions, tax entries, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and loan accounts
Review monthly sales invoices
Approve supplier payments before submission for bank approval
Assist in the review of Financial Statements received from the Auditors
Open and maintain bank accounts
Manage Income Tax, VAT, and EMP registrations for new companies
Complete any ad-hoc documentation as required
Review VAT calculations and returns
Assist with the completion and submission of annual income tax returns
Support the BEE process and audits
 
Skills & Experience:
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
A minimum of 3 years of post-article experience
IFRS for SMEs
Strong VAT, company tax and SARS knowledge
Netsuite knowledge is advantageous
 
Qualification:
Tertiary Degree in Finance
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
