Job & Company Description:
My client is a leading Fin-Tech Software provider, serving a vast variety of industries, specialising in payment solutions.

This Data Engineer role offers a unique chance to develop, enhance, troubleshoot and maintain services on both on-premises (Microsoft SQL Server) and cloud data systems.

It involves:

Responding to issues/tickets related to the support of existing systems.
Developing new reports on both on-premises and cloud systems.
Developing high performing stored procedures using T-SQL.

Education:

A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or Information systems.
MCSA or MCSE in data platform, database development, and data engineering.
Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification.

Essential:

+3 years of experience with the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS and SQL-server).
+3 years of experience with T-SQL development.
+1 year in Software development (any optional of Python, Java, C# or C++).
Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Understanding concepts related to RDBMS (Atomicity, transactions, Isolation levels, concurrency, locking, and blocking).
Data modelling for OLTP system (normalization, ERDs, Interaction diagrams).
