Analyse financial risks and uncertainties using advanced mathematics, statistics, and financial theory to help organizations manage risk and make informed decisions. Assess the financial impact of future events and provide insights for pricing, investment strategies, and risk management in sectors like insurance, pensions, and finance.

Key responsibilities

Analyse data and market trends to assess risks and forecast financial outcomes
Develop pricing models for insurance products and pension plans
Calculate reserves and liabilities for regulatory compliance
Advise clients on risk management strategies and mitigation
Collaborate with teams (underwriters, analysts, management) to support decisions
Stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and best practices
Prepare and present reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders

Job Experience

3 years experience Risk Analysis & Forecasting: Analysing data to assess risks and predict financial outcomes for insurance products, pensions, and investments.
Pricing & Valuation: Designing pricing models and evaluating premiums, reserves, and liabilities.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring actuarial calculations meet legal and regulatory standards.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related field (required)

Master's degree in a relevant field (preferred, especially for senior roles)
