Hire Resolve's Client is seeking a Human Resource Manager to join their team. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the human resources functions within a fast-paced financial Services Group & investment company. The role requires a well-rounded HR professional with a strong background in organizational development, change management, performance management, and experience within the finance sector beneficial. The HR / People Manager will lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, wellbeing, training and development, and foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Strategy Development and Execution:

   • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals.
   • Drive organizational development and transformation initiatives.

2. Recruitment and Onboarding:

   • Oversee talent acquisition processes, including workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding.
   • Ensure compliance with EE and BBBEE regulations.

3. Performance Management:

   • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems.
   • Provide guidance and training for managers on performance management best practices.

4. Employee Relations:

   • Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
   • Promote a culture of inclusivity, engagement, and well-being.

5. Learning and Development:

   • Identify training needs and create learning programs for employees.
   • Oversee leadership development initiatives to build a strong management pipeline.

6. Compensation and Benefits:

   • Manage payroll, employee benefits, and incentives.
   • Conduct benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable remuneration.

7. Compliance and Risk Management:

   • Ensure compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and industry regulations.
   • Mitigate risks related to employment practices and maintain ethical standards.

8. HR Systems and Reporting:

   • Oversee HR systems and data management.
   • Provide regular HR metrics and analytics to guide decision-making.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Qualifications:

   • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
   • HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, SABPP) is advantageous.

2. Experience:

   • Minimum of 3–8 years of experience in HR management.
   • Proven track record in implementing HR strategies and managing diverse teams.

3. Skills and Competencies:

   • Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and HR compliance.
   • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
   • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
