Internal/External Sales & Admin Assistant
Job Title: Sales and administrative assistant.
- Candidate Profile
- Male or Female (although we feel a male may be better suited to the position)
- Aged between 28 and 40 and preferably a non-smoker.
- Have their own car with a valid driver's license.
- Building industry experience is preferable, tiling industry knowledge would be an
advantage.
- Be articulate, well-spoken, bi-lingual (English and Afrikaans) and a good
communicator.
- Have a good grasp of the written languages, paying attention to grammar and spelling.
- Be confident, presentable, well put together and possess a positive energy.
- Must have tact, work well under pressure, pay careful attention to detail and be
respectful and relatable to all, as our client base stretches from company directors to
tiling contractors.
- Have loads of charisma and possess the x-factor.
- Job Description - Immediate requirements
- To assist the corporate sales executive in all spheres of his day-to-day activities,
responsibilities and functions.
- Interact with our corporate clients where needed.
- Conduct client presentations where necessary.
- Become proficient with the flooring IT systems and internal procedures.
- Establish and maintain working relationships across all corporate client bases.
- Obtain, collate, and manage corporate project information.
- Follow up with existing and potential clients to determine project timelines and
requirements.
- Oversee corporate projects in terms of stock requirements, ex-factory ETA's, etc.
o Coordinate stock requirements with the purchasing department.
- Assist with corporate project problem-solving i.e. stock, timing, etc.
- Assist with architectural clients in terms of samples, showroom visits, etc.
- Job Description - Future requirements
- Establish and maintain own architectural client base.
o Sourcing new business
o Calling on interior designers, developers
- Qualifications:
- Minimum tertiary education should be a grade 12.
- Tertiary certification in sales and customer service would be advantageous.
- Minimum 3 - 5-year sales experience in the building/tiling industry.
- Remuneration:
- Cost to company R20 000 – R25 000 per month.
- Sales commission will be added in the future.
