Key Responsibilities:

• Pricing & Product Development: Contribute to the pricing and development of short-term insurance products by analyzing claims data, market dynamics, and customer patterns.
• Data Analysis & Modeling: Create, refine, and manage pricing models to predict risks and optimize premiums across different customer groups.
• Performance Monitoring: Evaluate and report on pricing performance, including loss ratios and key metrics, recommending adjustments to maintain profitability.
• Team Collaboration: Partner with underwriting, sales, and product teams to ensure pricing strategies align with broader business goals.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to regulatory standards and ensure all pricing processes are well-documented.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Actuarial Progress: Completion of 8 or more actuarial exams.
• Technical Expertise: Skilled in actuarial modeling software, Excel, SQL, and programming tools like Python or R.
• Analytical Strength: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail.
• Industry Insight: Knowledge of short-term insurance products, market trends, and associated risk factors.
• Communication Skills: Proficient in translating complex analyses into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
