We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Role: Civil Engineer (Registered) / Civil Technologist (Registered)

Industry: Civil Engineering / Water Infrastructure

Level: Senior / Registered Professional

Key Requirements:

•           BSc/BEng/BTech in Civil Engineering.

•           Must be professionally registered with ECSA as a Pr Engineer or Pr Technologist.

•           5+ years experience in construction monitoring and/or supervision, with active involvement in ECSA-Stage 5 related responsibilities.

•           10+ years verifiable experience in the design of civil and/or building-related infrastructure, such as pump stations, pipelines, water-retaining structures, and hydraulic control structures.

•           Experience in generating construction drawings (civil or building/structural work) will be preferred.

Technical Skills:

•           Proficiency in Autodesk design packages (Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D).

•           Proficiency in Windows Office (Excel & Word as a minimum).

•           Experience in project management, including monitoring project progress, managing financial expenditure, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

•           Ability to generate and review civil and structural designs and contract documentation for water-related infrastructure projects.

•           Experience in construction administration, including issuing site instructions, variation orders, and ensuring compliance with quality control plans.

•           Measurement and certification of completed work, including cash flow forecasts.
