We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Cape Town.

Role: Junior Civil Engineer / Engineering Geologist

Industry: Geotechnical / Civil Engineering

Level: Junior

Qualifications

·        A degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology

·        2+ Years Experience

·        Competent in the use of Microsoft Office is essential, and competent use of AutoCAD/Civil 3D software is desirable.

·        Candidates with Geotechnical work experience would be preferred although this is not essential.

·        Willing and able to work towards professional qualifications (through the ICE, IOM3 or The Geological Society).

Personal Attributes:

·        Demonstrable interest in geotechnical projects and enthusiasm for promoting geotechnical services to clients.

·        Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to travel and work on-site or in other offices as required.

·        Self-motivated, with the ability to meet client and business expectations, while considering the broader financial and commercial impacts.

·        Strong communication skills, able to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
