Job Description:Are you a seasoned professional in blow moulding, plastics, or manufacturing, with a passion for optimizing production processes and leading high-performing teams? We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to take charge of our manufacturing operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Location: Isando, Gauteng

Key Responsibilities:

Production Coordination:
- Plan and implement production schedules to meet customer demands.
- Allocate resources, including personnel and materials, to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Monitor production workflows, addressing bottlenecks and identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and company quality requirements.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, train, and motivate a diverse production team.
- Conduct performance reviews, address gaps, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage workflow and discipline in line with company policies and industry best practices.
Health, Safety, and Quality:
- Enforce workplace safety standards and compliance with health regulations.
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety protocols where applicable.
Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to address issues and improve operations.

Requirements:

Education: Grade 12 (Matric) with an NQF Level 6 qualification in Production or Operations Management.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a Production Manager role within blow moulding, plastics, or general manufacturing.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Problem-solving expertise and the ability to manage under pressure.
Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of blow moulding and plastics manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and quality control regulations in manufacturing.
