A leading organization is seeking a dynamic Junior Engineer to provide technical support for production processes, drive engineering projects, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality products.Location: Ottery, Cape Town

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Process Support
- Industrialize and maintain production processes for efficiency and quality.
- Analyze data, identify trends, and propose solutions for process improvements.
- Monitor operations, ensure machine reliability, and troubleshoot issues.
- Train teams on best practices for equipment and processes.
- Document work processes and changes effectively.
Inventory and Resource Management
- Manage technical supplies and equipment inventory.
- Facilitate equipment procurement as needed.
Health and Safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and report safety incidents.
Quality & Food Safety Standards
- Adhere to company quality principles and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Uphold site-specific food safety systems and report hazards when applicable.
Self-Development and Team Contribution
- Identify personal growth opportunities and stay informed on industry innovations.
- Collaborate effectively with the team and set an example in performance and behavior.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and fault finding.
- Familiarity with equipment, raw materials, moulds, and downstream equipment.
- Proficiency in project management and software tools.
Competencies: Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail and a decisive approach.
