We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team, reporting into the Local Sales Manager. This position will play a crucial role in handling daily logistics and customer relations with packhouses and customers and be a supporting role to the Local Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for allocation of fruit to various customers based on demand and availability, and managing fruit age ensuring fruit gets allocated timeously. Additionally, they will be an integral part in maintaining strong relationships with packhouses and customers, and ensuring orders are filled timeously, assisting with queries and issuing packing instructions as needed.

This position may require some travel to local packhouses and growers in South Africa.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily management of stock, including stock age management and allocation of fruit to various customers
• Maintaining strong customer relations
• Facilitating daily communication with packhouses and customers.
• Crate control and packaging orders
• Logistics coordination of stock from packhouses to customers.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Post matriculation qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent degree
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (local)
