Job Description:
As the Junior Accountant, your duties and responsibilities include the following:
Prepare standard journal entries in line with policies and procedures
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
Complete standard financial controls
Assist with month-end and year-end closures
Financial reporting
Prepare reconciliations of expenses vs approved budgets
Provide commentary on variances found
Prepare unbilled accruals
Revenue reconciliation calculations
Reconcile and maintain intercompany accounts
Provide assistance with preparing statutory accounts
Upload budgets
Contribute positive efforts towards the success of the finance team
Support the audit processes, both internally and externally
 
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years commercial experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Offices
Experience working on NetSuite would be highly beneficial

Qualification:
Completed Finance or Accounting degree
SAIPA articles
