Purpose of Role:

To produce technical drawings based on given specifications to contract / customer requirements.
Close interaction with project technicians and engineers, printing and issuing of drawings.
Successful and effective document distribution as well as maintaining a functional archive system. Assist with general drawings, office filing in relation to monthly reports, parts lists etc.
Ensure all drawings and related documentation is controlled in a meticulous and orderly fashion in line with company policies and procedures, essentially contributing to the success of the business unit in line with the objectives of company.

Responsibilities

Do basic design calculations and selections pertaining to pump sets, base plates and auxiliaries
To create customer related drawings, eg. general arrangements, structural baseplates, piping and sectional drawings
Redraw and create 3D models and assemblies based on 2D drawings
Create new or rework drawings based on a changing engineering environment
Update current drawings if and when new revisions are required
Maintain the drawing office systems and procedures
Liaise with other departments, eg. Sales, Projects, Workshops, etc.
Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures
Assist fellow employees with daily functions as and when required
Carry out all other reasonable tasks that may be delegated from time to time
