On behalf of our client, a leader in cross-border financial services, we are searching for a dynamic and driven Finance Business Analyst to join their team. This role is centered around the re-launch and scaling of their correspondent banking division, focusing on implementing financial ledger integration. About the Role:
As the Finance Business Analyst, you will be responsible for spearheading the integration of financial ledgers within the company’s core banking framework. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment, is keen to tackle complex challenges, and enjoys the sense of accomplishment that comes with delivering impactful results. You'll work closely with the finance and tech teams, building strong processes that scale with business growth.
 
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering: Engage deeply with finance processes and user stories, translating them into clear, prioritized requirements that drive the project forward
User Training and Engagement: Work alongside users to understand workflows, remove inefficiencies, and ensure they are fully utilizing the system
Chart of Accounts: Take ownership of the automated chart of accounts, understanding every type of account and ensuring its accuracy.
Finance Process Automation: Collaborate with the finance team to identify opportunities for automation and streamline workflows for maximum efficiency and control
 
Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking someone who is highly structured, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a complex workload. You should have a deep understanding of core banking systems, be passionate about quality and user experience, and possess strong problem-solving skills. You should also be excited about the opportunity to re-build a major component of the banking system and drive tangible results.

Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in Finance, Treasury, FP&A, or middle-office banking is required. 
Solid understanding of financial systems and processes, with a demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment

Qualification:
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field is preferred, with professional memberships being an added advantage.
