Job Description:
As the Financial Manager, your day-to-day duties could include the following:
Take ownership of the finance function
Work closely with senior management to drive the financial strategy of the business
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports
Provide insightful analysis to inform key business decisions
Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with company objectives
Provide accurate forecasts to guide strategic planning
Manage and optimize cash flow to ensure financial stability
Ensure that strong financial controls and compliance standards are in place across the business
Supervise a small team by mentoring and guiding
Work closely with operational teams to provide financial insights that drive performance improvements
 
Skills & Experience:
IFRS 16 exposure during articles is essential
Auditing retail, manufacturing or property clients would be highly beneficial
Strong analytical skills
Advanced Excel skills

Qualification:
Newly qualified CA(SA)
Completed SAICA articles
