Description:
Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a Mine Overseer to join their well-established mining company based in the Mpumalanga province. As a Mine Overseer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all mining activities in the mining operation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and achieving production targets.

Responsibilities:

• Maximize the efficient use and allocation of resources.
• Analyze theoretical principles to identify and implement enhancements.
• Create and oversee a system for managing documents to enable streamlined storage and retrieval.
• Follow the Mine’s Code of Practice and promptly report any irregularities.
• Uphold and comply with established Safety, Health, and Environmental protocols.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Metalliferous Mining Blasting Certificate
• Mine Overseer/Mine Managers' Certificate of Competency
• 8 years' experience in the mining industry (Gold preferred)
• 5 years' experience as a Production Supervisor/Mine Overseer
• Medium and Short-Term Planning experience
• Valid Drivers' License
