Hire Resolve's client, a leading South African pharmaceutical company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager. Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee financial statements in compliance with IFRS.

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Ensure compliance with SARS regulations, including VAT and corporate tax.
• Oversee audits and adherence to pharmaceutical financial regulations.
• Develop financial strategies aligned with long-term corporate objectives.
• Lead resource allocation and cost optimization efforts.
• Analyze production and distribution costs for efficiency improvements.
• Mentor and manage the finance team to drive performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and suppliers.
• Support financial decision-making for new products or acquisitions.
• Leverage financial software to enhance reporting and analysis.

• Promote innovation in financial processes and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
• CA(SA) or CIMA qualification advantageous.
• 5–7 years’ experience in senior financial roles, ideally in pharmaceuticals.
• Expertise in cost accounting and financial planning.
• Strong knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• High ethical standards and attention to detail.
