Junior Fleet Controller

Upington

Requirements:

-        At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role with good knowledge of Long-Distance Transport Industry.

-        Good interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.

-        Good attention to detail and multitasking skills.

-        Must be willing to work long hours and weekends when required.

Duties will include:

-        Planning of loads, routes, fuel, overnight locations etc.

-        Administrative duties and document control.

-        Management of tracking reports and cameras.

-        Track load status and provide feedback.

-        Accurate record keeping and data inputs.

-        Compliance with National Road Traffic Act.

-        Daily/weekly reporting.

-        Assist with fleet onboarding procedures, driver medicals and induction procedure compliance.

-        Assist in defining control systems for maintenance and tyre management.

-        Managing of license renewals and COFS.

-        Accident/Incident management.
