Position Title: Junior Accountant (Specializing in SAP S/4HANA)
Location: Western Cape

Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant with expertise in SAP S/4HANA to join our finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply accounting knowledge, perform reconciliations, and contribute to efficient financial processing. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for optimizing financial operations through technology.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reconciliations & Analysis:

Perform accurate and timely reconciliations of various accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including account analysis and adjustments as needed.
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data through rigorous account review and reconciliation processes.

Financial Processing:

Process invoices, payments, and journal entries accurately and efficiently within SAP S/4HANA.
Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate posting of transactions.
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with company policies.

System Proficiency & Data Integrity:

Utilize SAP S/4HANA to optimize financial workflows, improve data accuracy, and drive process efficiencies.
Support ongoing system improvements, providing feedback to ensure system functionality meets operational needs.
Troubleshoot issues within SAP and provide first-line support for finance-related SAP queries.

Reporting & Compliance:

Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed, assisting in generating relevant management insights.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and financial controls.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices in financial processing and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Relevant Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (required).
Minimum 4 of accounting experience, with a focus on reconciliations and financial processing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
