We are searching for a dynamic and motivated Civil Engineer/ Civil Engineering Technologist to join an established medium-sized Consulting Engineering firm located in Bellville (Cape Town).

The candidate must have 1-3 years’ experience as a Civil Engineering Consultant with post-graduation design experience in municipal infrastructure projects (Water networks, sewer networks, stormwater network, roads and parking areas).

• Other key requirements:
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Quantity and cost estimates for tender and construction projects.
• Preparing Civil3D drawings and specifications.
• Preparing 3D surfaces, volume calculations, corridors, and comprehensive knowledge of Civil 3D feature lines and grading.
• Preparation of specifications and reports.
• Completion of construction as-built drawings.
• Inspection and site visits.
• Involved in civil projects from concept stage to completion stage.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
• Have good communication skills.
