Hire Resolve is looking for an experienced Wealth/Financial Planner to join our client, a prominent financial institution. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a proven background in wealth management and an established client base. Located in Pretoria, the successful candidate will work closely with high-net-worth clients, offering tailored financial strategies, investment planning, and portfolio management to support long-term financial growth and security.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing customized financial planning services
• Build long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction through regular reviews and strategic portfolio rebalancing
• Deliver comprehensive financial planning services, including estate planning, tax optimization, and offshore investment strategies
• Conduct in-depth financial assessments to create tailored investment solutions based on clients' goals
• Provide expert guidance on complex financial products, including offshore investments, trusts, and alternative assets
• Actively expand the client base through networking, client seminars, and personal contacts
• Maintain and expand an existing book of business by introducing clients to a broad suite of wealth management services
• Ensure regulatory compliance with industry standards, keeping detailed records and preparing reports as required
• Stay current on global/local market trends to offer timely, informed advice
• Educate clients on financial planning topics to facilitate informed decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CFP, CFA, or similar certification preferred
• 5+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a similar role
• Established book of clients with a record of managing high-net-worth portfolios
• Strong knowledge of financial products, offshore investments, estate planning, and tax strategies
• Proven relationship management skills, with a high level of professionalism and a consultative approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Based in Pretoria or willing to relocate; able to travel for client meetings in the region
