Role: Discipline Lead: Bridges and Civil Structures

Industry: Civil Engineering

Level: Senior / Leadership

Key Requirements:

·        BSc or BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering. Pr Eng registration with ECSA is mandatory.

·        15+ years of practical experience in bridges and civil structures.

·        Proven track record in business development, including securing new projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.

·        Extensive experience with SANRAL and COTO Senior Bridge Inspection.

·        Demonstrable commercial and financial management experience, including project budgeting and financial oversight.

Technical Skills:

·        Expert-level technical knowledge in bridge engineering.

·        Familiarity with industry standards and project management software.

·        Solid experience in Quality Assurance (QA) within engineering projects.

·        Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor a team, with a focus on professional development, optimal performance, and resourcing.

·        Business Development: Strong ability to identify new business opportunities, develop strategies, and drive company growth in the engineering sector.

·        Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills to manage client relationships and work effectively within a culturally diverse, multidisciplinary environment.
