Purpose of the Position
As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our digital strategy, guiding the development and delivery of impactful digital solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive the product roadmap, transforming insights and business objectives into meaningful, user-centered experiences. From day one, you will take on critical responsibilities, collaborating with key stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and bring our digital vision to life, advancing our company’s digital goals and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Define and Communicate Product Vision and Strategy
Drive and articulate a clear, compelling product vision aligned with the company's strategic goals.
Develop a robust roadmap that prioritises growth opportunities and addresses customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights.
Translate Roadmap into Requirements
Break down the product roadmap into well-defined requirements, including features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Continuously refine requirements based on customer feedback, feasibility assessments, and changing priorities.
Backlog Management and Prioritization
Own the product backlog, prioritising features based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of product requirements.
Release Planning and Feature Delivery
Lead the planning and execution of product releases, ensuring alignment with release goals and setting realistic expectations for new features and improvements.
Proactively communicate release plans and timelines to stakeholders, updating them on progress and any adjustments.
Continuous Business and Market Evaluation
Regularly review and adjust priorities in response to evolving business needs, market conditions, and feedback from users and stakeholders.
Identify and assess risks and opportunities, making data-driven recommendations for prioritization and resource allocation.
Stay up to date with technology trends that may be leveraged to create better solutions for customers.
Agile Process Management and Impediment Resolution
Support and actively engage in Agile practices, promoting efficiency and continuous improvement within your broader team.
Proactively address and remove impediments that hinder the team's ability to achieve sprint goals, promoting an efficient and collaborative environment.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
Implement metrics and KPIs to measure product performance post-launch, evaluating outcomes to inform future investments.
Regularly analyze product usage and performance data to identify trends, recommend feature enhancements, and guide the roadmap towards continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the main point of contact between the business and development teams, fostering open communication and ensuring alignment on priorities and deliverables.
Collaborate closely with analytics, UX design, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive approach to product development and go-to-market strategies.
Drive Business Value and Continuous Improvement
Demonstrate tangible business value through effective prioritization, product enhancements, and a focus on customer-centric solutions.
Regularly assess product performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and new feature development.
Experience.
5+ years of experience in product management or a related role such as project management, business analysis, or operations, ideally within a tech, digital, or customer-centric environment.
Experience managing the product lifecycle, including product strategy, roadmap development, requirements gathering, and product launch.
Proven ability to translate business goals and customer needs into clear product requirements and actionable development plans.
Track record of working in Agile environments, with hands-on experience in Agile practices like sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release management.
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making, define product success metrics, and inform product iterations.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support to align on product vision and deliver successful products.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, from executives to team members.
Experience working with external stakeholders and vendors is often a plus, especially for products involving third-party integrations or partnerships.
Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies, such as product management software (e.g., Jira, Asana), data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and design/prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Digital and/or Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or an equivalent
Technical Competencies
Exhibit strong problem solving and influencing skills to effectively drive portfolio efforts and ensure project plans deliver on intent.
Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent portfolio management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic, complex environment.
Drive Agile methodologies to help a cross-functional team with story creation, prioritisation, planning and retrospective.
Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
