Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their fire team in Johannesburg. The role involves preparing technical drawings for fire protection installations and systems, along with fire safety plans.

Requirements:

·        Certificate in Multi-Disciplinary Drawings / National Diploma

·        5 Years' experience working for an engineering consultancy

·        Minimum 4 years' experience working on Revit MEP

·        Knowledge and experience with fire protection systems and their design

Responsibilities:

·        Oversee the design and modeling of fire protection systems and fire safety plans.

·        Develop and/or revise engineering designs and models as needed.

·        Design fire protection systems for various projects.

·        Collaborate and communicate effectively with building owners, clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams, both internally and externally.

·        Conduct site meetings and inspections with engineers and contractors during construction to update designs and models accordingly.
