We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supervising the installation of electrical systems for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing electrical systems for buildings, machinery, and equipment
Developing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for electrical projects
Conducting testing and inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards
Supervising the installation and maintenance of electrical systems
Providing technical support and training to staff and clients
Keeping up to date with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering
Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
Strong technical and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
Experience working on industrial, commercial, and residential projects is a plus
