Purpose of the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Trading Support: Work closely with senior traders to understand and support the day-to-day trading process. This includes learning how trades are executed, how strategies are developed, and how risk is managed.
• Market Intelligence: Provide high-quality, asset-class-specific market intelligence to clients, helping them make informed decisions in the derivatives market.
• Proactive Revenue Generation: Focus on generating revenue by identifying market opportunities, taking the initiative, and proactively engaging with clients and market developments.
• Order Execution: Manage and execute orders with precision, ensuring each trade is handled with accountability and professionalism.
• Research & Analysis: Generate and distribute market intelligence and ongoing research reports to support the trading desk. Develop bespoke research products and new trading ideas.
• Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings, answering queries and providing updates on market conditions and trading opportunities.
• Team Collaboration: Engage in team discussions, attend morning meetings, and collaborate on strategies to ensure effective execution and a cohesive working environment.
