We're seeking a talented Energy Analyst to join our Client based in Cape Town. As an Energy Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in analyzing energy consumption patterns, identifying optimization opportunities, and developing innovative energy solutions for our diverse client base.

What you'll bring:

·        Academic Background: BEng (any discipline) or BSc in Chemistry, Physics, Computer Sciences, or a related field.

·        Experience Level: New graduates to 5 years of experience in a relevant role.

·        Technical Skills: Proven experience in energy or financial data analysis and modelling, with a deep understanding of energy consumption patterns, tariffs, and renewable energy solutions.

·        Data Proficiency: Strong ability to work with large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and present findings clearly and concisely.

·        Analytical Mindset: A keen eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving.

·        Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What you'll do:

·        Data Analysis: Delve into energy meter and utility billing data to uncover trends and patterns in energy consumption across a wide range of commercial and industrial clients.

·        Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique energy needs and tailor solutions to their specific requirements.

·        Solution Development: Leverage your knowledge of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies to design and implement innovative strategies that reduce energy consumption and costs.

·        Impact Assessment: Evaluate the effectiveness of energy interventions and measure their impact on baseline consumption.

·        Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for optimization and provide actionable recommendations.
