Description:
Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a skilled Mine Planner to join their mining company in KZN. As a Mine Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing mine plans and designs, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

• Create short-term and medium-term mine plans and designs.
• Optimize production schedules and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Conduct regular surveys and assessments to monitor and update mine plans.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of mining activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Prepare and present reports on mine planning activities.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices in mine planning.
  

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years' experience as a Mine Planner in opencast/coal mining.
• Extensive experience in mine design software (OCCS & Microstation)
• Valid driver's license
