Title: Business & Systems Analyst
Our client, based in Hermanus, is looking to hire an Business & Systems Analyst to join their company, in the financial industry, as soon as possible.
Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing organization, is seeking a talented Business & Systems Analyst to join their team. This diverse and multifaceted role will focus on understanding and translating business needs into effective Salesforce configurations, ensuring that developed systems align with user requirements and support business goals.
As a subject matter expert in Salesforce, you will leverage your expertise to configure, automate, and build solutions on the Salesforce platform without the need for custom coding. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, users, and business improvement teams, contributing to the growth and efficiency of key business systems and driving insightful decisions through data-driven analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Work closely with business users to analyze and plan goal-driven business requirements.
- Provide data-driven insights to support business decisions and strategies.
- Participate in grooming and planning sessions to define acceptance criteria and ensure that system requirements align with business objectives.
- Facilitate the configuration and development process by providing business context and detailed requirements to developers.
- Manage the backlog of tasks, prioritizing for the business owner.
Testing & System Health
- Conduct sandbox environment testing of new configurations and solutions.
- Track, resolve, and retest bugs to ensure system health.
- Monitor and address any system errors or flow issues to avoid delays to the business.
Training & Support
- Provide training to super-users and end-users to ensure the efficient use of Salesforce and other systems.
- Offer continuous support to end-users, troubleshooting technical issues and offering guidance.
Salesforce Configuration & Development
- Implement and manage Salesforce configuration changes, including flows, assignment rules, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, dashboards, and reports.
- Oversee user and license management, including setup/deactivation, roles, permissions, profiles, and sharing rules.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Developers to customize and maintain the platform according to evolving business needs.
Compliance & System Administration
- Ensure adherence to company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory rules (including FSCA, FAIS, and SARB, where applicable).
- Perform daily administrative duties and provide technical user support across all business units.
Key Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- A tertiary qualification (e.g., degree or post-graduate) is recommended.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or equivalent certification is essential.
- Previous experience in business analysis or systems administration is desirable; experience in the financial services sector would be advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with information systems (IS) and project management is a plus.
Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Strong experience with Salesforce configuration and administration.
- Proficient in using tools such as Lucidchart for data visualization.
- Solid understanding of business process analysis and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, handling competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Area: Hermanus, Western Cape.
Salary: R 33 000 - R45 800 CTC per month, depending on experience.
