Candidate Requirements

Experience Required:

· Minimum 7 years experience as a SHERQ Officer in a mining environment

· 3 years operational Risk assessment experience

4 years operational Incident investigation experience

Qualifications:

Grade 12
National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Safety / Risk Management
Certificate in ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001
SAMTRAC / COMSOC (1 & 2)
Competent A certificate in Surface mining
Blasting certificate in Surface mining / Equivalent MQA
Certificate in Safety Investigations – RCAT / ICAM
Trade Test Certificate
