Job Title: Chemical Engineer, Process Design

Location:

Limpopo, Waterberg District, Lephalale

Job Type:

6 month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Duties:

• Developing and designing processes for chemical manufacturing
• Conducting research to improve existing processes and develop new ones
• Collaborating with other engineers and professionals to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Performing process simulations and optimisation to improve efficiency
• Troubleshooting issues and providing technical support during project implementation

Required Qualifications:

• Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering,
• Professional Engineer with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
• Experience with process design software

Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in chemical systems design, specifically related to:
  
  
  
  • Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems or similar chemical process systems.
  • Wastewater treatment processes, chemical handling, and byproduct management.
  • Previous experience in designing chemical processes for power generation or industrial plants is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in process flow development, mass and energy balance calculations, and chemical reaction engineering.
