Job Title: Health and Safety Officer

Location:

Limpopo, Waterberg District, Lephalale

Job Type:

6 month Contract, expected to work full-time hours

Job Duties:

• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards
• Provide safety training to employees and contractors
• Investigate and report on accidents and near misses
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
• Participate in safety audits and risk assessments
• Maintain safety records and documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Management
• Certification in SHE standards
• Proven experience working in a health and safety role
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in SHE compliance on large-scale construction projects.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification
• Ability to develop and deliver health and safety training
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
