Are you a strategic, results-driven leader with extensive experience in project management, business analysis, and management consulting? Our client, a market leader in the private education sector, is seeking a Head of Project Management Office (PMO) to lead and transform their project portfolio across large, transformational organizational projects.

As the Head of PMO, you will play a key role in overseeing and directing the execution of major initiatives within a fast-paced and innovative environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of strategic projects while providing guidance and support to project teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Project Management Office (PMO) and manage a portfolio of large, complex projects aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
• Develop and implement standardized project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices across the business.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align projects with organizational objectives and ensure continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and business analysts, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Manage resource allocation, risks, and budgets to ensure projects meet scope, quality, and schedule expectations.
• Establish and maintain project governance, reporting, and performance metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Science, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification (e.g., Master’s Degree, or similar).
• Project Management qualification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, or equivalent).
• MBA (ideal, but not required).

Minimum Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis.
• Between 5 to 8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on large, transformational organizational projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in management consulting, ideally within large organizations or on transformation projects.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in management, specifically in leading teams and managing complex projects.
