Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the public sector accounts. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing customer relationships in the public sector market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's presence in the public sector market
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities with government agencies, educational institutions, and other public sector organizations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within public sector accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized IT solutions that meet the unique needs of public sector customers
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Negotiate and close sales contracts in accordance with company guidelines and policies
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management

Candidate Requirements
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT sales or related field
- Strong understanding of the public sector market and procurement processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools
- Willingness to travel as needed
