Job Title: Project Cost Engineer

Location: Limpopo, Greater Sekhukhune District, Burgersfort

Job Type: 24 Month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Mining

Job Duties:

• Develop and maintain project cost estimates and budgets
• Monitor and track project expenses and analyse cost variances
• Prepare cost reports and forecasts for project stakeholders
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to control project costs
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as a Cost Engineer or similar role in the mining industry
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in cost estimation and budgeting techniques

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project cost engineering in the mining sector

Knowledge and Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of cost control principles and practises
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification in Cost Engineering or Project Management
• Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field
