Key Responsibilities
Corporate Transport Operations & Site and Driver Management
● Daily Trip and Booking Management: Analyze and manage daily trip requirements to ensure timely, efficient fulfillment of client needs.
● Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with team members to ensure accurate completion of trips.
● Driver Allocation and Site Oversight: Manage driver resources and flow per site; oversee site logistics and driver support.
● Client Interaction: Liaise with clients as needed, ensuring all information is communicated clearly and accurately.
● Issue Resolution: Address and resolve client and site queries efficiently.
Logistics Specialist Team Management
● Training and Development: Ensure all Logistics Specialists are well-trained, competent, and meet their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
● Scheduling and Workload Management: Organize schedules and distribute workloads to maximize team efficiency.
● Performance Oversight: Monitor team performance, set benchmarks, and support team growth.
● Efficiency Projects: Lead projects to streamline logistics processes and reduce resource waste.
General Administrative Responsibilities
● Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly reports on logistics operations and performance metrics.
● Process Improvement: Develop, document, and refine operational processes; ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
Cost-Saving Research: Identify and implement strategies to reduce logistics costs
and improve resource allocation.
● Continuous Improvement: Identify and address redundant processes to enhance
operational efficiency.
Operations Department Overview
Operations Manager: You will report to the Head of the Operations Department, with oversight on cross-company operations spanning multiple departments. The primary focus is on capturing and consolidating growth opportunities. Your role will contribute to this goal by ensuring consistency, quality, and profitability in our operations.
Key Areas of Focus:
● Consolidation: Standardize project processes, ensuring consistent quality and operational coherence.
● Company Elevation: Support the advancement of team competencies and contribute to an elevated supply chain.
● Solution Deployment: Serve as an active solutionist, identifying and implementing operational improvements in real-time.
● Strategic Advancement: Aid in aligning operational practices with overall company objectives and growth strategy.
