SENIOR PROFESSIONAL OFFICER: TENANCY MANAGEMENT
TCOE SALARY COMMENCING FROM R1,005,233 PER ANNUM ● HSM 52/24
Requirements:
- A relevant BTech or first degree
- Five (5) years’ relevant experience within the housing environment
- Knowledge and experience in procurement and project management
- Knowledge of human settlements legislation and polices
- Knowledge and understanding of tenancy management policies and procedures
- Knowledge and experience in project management proven supervisory skills
- A valid Code EB driver's licence.
Key performance areas:
- Project management linked to tenancy management
- Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the effective compliance to operational and lease conditions of City's rental stock portfolio
- Manage the preparation of tender documents in consultation with SCM for the procurement of services
- Contract management and project governance
- Manage the implementation of financial controls and procedures
- Manage and recommend the allocation of Human Resources and the development of staff
- Draft reports and keep statistical information for reporting purposes
- Recommend and facilitate the development and implementation of long and short-term objectives for improved rental and sales administration
- Conduct research and investigations to obtain information for the development of complex programs, systems or other specialist initiatives to improve best practice tenancy management models and compliance with national, provincial and local government policies, procedures, information technology applications and system
- Monitor and control prioritised projects in a transversal management environment to ultimately achieve set targets.
