We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Agent to join our client’s team in Cape Town for a 6-month contract. This position requires someone who can step in and effectively manage and oversee on-site construction activities to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Manage and oversee all on-site activities, ensuring projects meet timelines and quality standards.

·        Coordinate with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and site workers.

·        Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

·        Conduct regular site inspections and manage daily progress reports.

·        Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project.

·        Manage resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment.

·        Ensure compliance with project specifications, plans, and industry regulations.

·        Liaise with clients and report on project progress.

Requirements:

·        Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.

·        Proven experience as a Site Agent or Site Manager in the civil construction industry.

·        Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

·        Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.

·        Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite.

·        Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards.
