Hire Resolve's client is excited to announce an opening for an experienced Electrical and C&I (Control & Instrumentation) Draughtsman based in Cape Town. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Design Engineers to grasp project requirements by accurately interpreting specifications.
• Create concept, basic, and detailed designs, producing drawings for MV, LV, and DC systems.
• Assist in installation activities by checking as-built statuses, revising drawings, and providing support during testing and commissioning.
• Maintain high standards of quality in your work and meet project deadlines.
• Integrate electrical and C&I designs with civil, mechanical, and piping layouts to ensure cohesive project execution.

• National Certificate level 5 in draughting or National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 4 years' experience in C&I and electrical design, with Oil & Gas or Renewable Energy experience being advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of various electrical diagrams and layouts (e.g., General Arrangement, Single Line Diagrams, Circuit Diagrams, etc.).
• Familiarity with electrical underground ducts, grounding, small power & lighting, and electrical equipment layouts.
• Practical experience with control systems (PLC/DCS) and LV, MV, and DC system designs.
• Proficiency in AVEVA, AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical, MicroStation, and other 3D software, with strong communication and organizational skills.
